Free setup credits, subscriptions, and what it takes to go live.
Reply First lets you set everything up and test end-to-end before you pay, then charges a subscription for live conversations. Manage it under Settings → Billing.
Setup credits vs. live
- Setup credits — a new workspace gets free credits to configure the agent, import listings, and test in the Playground and demo. Nothing reaches a real lead.
- Live — answering real inbound conversations on a connected channel requires an active subscription.
This split means you can prove the agent works for your business before committing.
Subscription states
Your workspace is always in one of these states:

setup_active | Free setup credits remaining — configure and test. |
setup_exhausted | Setup credits used up; subscribe to go live. |
active | Subscribed — the agent answers live leads. |
grace | A payment issue, still live during a short grace period. |
grace_expired | Grace ended without payment — live sending pauses. |
no_subscription | No active plan. |
Going live
Connect a channel, then activate a subscription from Settings → Billing. Once you're active, new inbound leads are answered automatically.
